        Hi 224newg36!

Well seagulls will take any opportunity to get food because they are known as scavengers. Scavengers will grab food at any opportunity! They can be lazy and will try find the easiest meal they can!
I have seen people feed seagulls, and this is a much easier option for the seagulls. Would you rather go out and try find fish in the ocean to eat, or else grab some fish from humans and eat that instead? They become lazy and wait for us to bring food to them.
The only downside is that if you start feeding them then they will expect to get fed all the time. So even if we don’t want to share our food with them, they will still want a nibble and so they steal from us!
