• Question: Why is time a thing???

        Well that’s a big question! Unfortunately WHY is not really something we are positioned to answer as scientists but HOW mostly is. Again unfortunately your question is up there with “why do we exist?” in terms of how difficult to figure out it is. Scientists have been trying to understand time forever and while there have been huge discoveries by people like Albert Einstein we still dont really know.

        As far as I know, and I wouldn’t be the perfect type of scientist to answer this question, all we really know is time was around at the Big Bang which started the universe and that time exists everywhere just like gravity and space.

        But thinking about big questions like that is a cool thing and being a scientist lets us try and think about them scientifically.
