Hello! The chemical formula for water is H2O, this means that in each water molecule there are 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. You can actually use something called electrochemistry and split water into H2 and O which allows us to make hydrogen fuel!

      Howdy!

As mentioned in the answer above water is H2O! I think splitting water into its 2 gases is quite fun, and I have a toy car that runs on hydrogen gas so I get to split water quite often!

      Hey Aoife

Sorry for the late reply – i was having problems with the website 🙁

The girls have already beaten me to the answer! The Chemical formula for water is H2O – thats two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen!

Water’s pretty cool stuff you know? Did you know its magnetic? If you have a really powerful magnet you can make it move – (though its hard to get a magnet powerful enough)! You can make it move with electric fields too! this is easy to do – if you rub a balloon on your hair you can charge it up with static electricity! and then you can bend water! – heres how to:

Hope this answers your question – let me know if you want to know more 🙂
