      Hello!

There is a lot of evidence to suggest that it did happen for example:
      1. The universe is expanding, proven with something called red shift.
      2. Cosmic microwave background radiation exists.
      3. There is an abundance of different elements in the universe (much of what we see on earth).
Research in CERN will hopefully prove it to us so tell your classmate to keep an eye on CERN! =)

      Hi cluny

I can’t prove the big bang happened – but theres lots of evidence to suggest it did!

the main reason is because we know from looking at stars that the universe is expanding – as its still going outwards we think that it all must have come from one single point!

The cosmic microwave background – is the left over signal from the explosion – like the smoke from the gun!

hope that helps, let me know if you want to know more :]
