Favourite thing to do in science: Think of a crazy idea and test it in a lab! getting to be the first person ever to see something work!
About Me: Im a Lecturer in Chemistry who loves science almost as much as I love cake!
My Work: I work on controlling when and where chemical reactions take place – so i can make tartan paint!
What I'd do with the money: Id come and show my chemicals moving around in schools!

I really like garbage and incubus.

anything involving bacon is a good start
What is the most fun thing you've done?
hmmm – tricky! probably swimming with batfish and dolphins on coral reefs in indonesia
What did you want to be after you left school?
research scientist or a doctor!
Were you ever in trouble at school?
Once – because i died my hair blue – they were right i looked ridiculous (think marge simpson)!

What's the best thing you've done as a scientist?
Science is awesome! Is all super exciting, but I’m really excited about the work I’m currently doing :)
What or who inspired you to become a scientist?
My granddad and my dad – they were always asking questions about how the world worked
If you weren't a scientist, what would you be?
Id be a medical doctor, or a terrible stand-up comic
If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
To be able to be super fit without having to exercises, to remember everything I’ve ever read, and to live a super long time (but maybe not forever)
